SINGERS SYRUP

A formulation of 5 Chinese Herbs Herbs suspended in a glycerine syrup.
This syrup is based on a Qing Dynasty recipe for orators and singers, which is said to:

SINGERS SYRUP'S HISTORY

Having worked in Covent Garden in London for the past 7 years as a Chinese Herbalist, I have seen a fair share of actors and singers. On many occasions I have been called upon to treat acute and chronic upper respiratory tract problems. They all responded well using Chinese Herbal remedies.

Eventually I was approached by patients suffering from very specific voice difficulties:

Fatigued voice, absent voice, copious phlegm, dryness when using the voice due to work related demands ect. .

I asked East West Herb's Chinese pharmacolagist for advise and their extensive reference library was looked up for any relevant formula.
One week later I received a paper with the heading:

'Golden voice Decoction' (Qing Dynasty), for orators and singers containing a list of herbs for a special syrup.

I did not recognise all of the herbs and two very special herbs we had to order.

It now is two years since this formula has been successfully used by:
  • round the world rock concerts
  • 'The Scala' in Milan
  • vocal artists
  • speakers
At 'The Scala' it saved the day when the lead singer blew her voice. Someone said "I wish you could bottle that".
So I did. This is how Singers Syrup was born.
